The shop in my pocket: the impact of smartphones on shopping behaviour by Shoppercentric
A presentation looking at the impact of smartphones on shopping behaviour.
The majority of UK shoppers have a smartphone and this presentation looks at how they are using them to shop - whether that is searching for inspiration, researching products to buy, finding items in-store or considering the final purchase.
However, it is important to remember that smartphones are just one platform among many shoppers now use.
The key for the industry is to provide tools and solutions to the shopper which both make sense and make shopping easier.
